Do You Know The Oldest Dog That Ever Lived?

Did it cross your mind what age is the oldest dog? The average lifespan of a dog is between eight to fifteen years. And most of the dogs that lived longer are the small breeds.

But there are those dogs that can defy nature and lived longer than expected.

The official oldest dog on record lived as long as 29 years and five months. Bluey, an Australian Cattle Dog lived in a farm in Victoria, Australia between 1910 and 1939. Bluey already reached 200 years old in dog years!

Recently, though, this record would have been surpassed by Maggie who lived for 30 years. Maggie is also a dog from Victoria, Australia. The same place Bluey was from. But the owner cannot provide the paperwork to verify Maggie’s age.

For now, Bluey still holds the world record of oldest dog ever lived.
